About the event
Come hear the narrated story of a Savior born to a virgin in Bethlehem, interspersed with the singing of traditional Christmas carols, as led by local musicians.
Presented by First United Methodist Church Lafayette, La and Downtown Lafayette, the event will take place on Thursday, December 19, from 6-7pm, in Parc International.
Downtown Candlelight Christmas is part of the Merry & Bright Christmas in Downtown. Merry & Bright is a full season of holiday events, and installations in Downtown Lafayette—including a Christmas tree decorating contest, artist-curated window displays, photo ops with Santa, a holiday art market, a candlelight caroling night, and much more.
